NashVitality

The Metro Public Health Department was awarded a federal grant to encourage Nashvillians to create more healthy, active and green choices in their communities. Locomotion Creative was selected for the branding effort, creating a name and graphic identity for the program. A website plus television, print and outdoor advertising positioned NashVitality as “the spirit of a healthy, active and green city.” Marketing elements featured real examples of someone spearheading an effort that demonstrates “NashVitality” and solicited other ideas from the public. A second website, www.walk100miles.com, helped encourage more than 4,000 Nashvillians to walk more than 103,000 miles through a program spearheaded by Mayor Karl Dean.
