They say, “Ace is the Place” for helpfulness, so when Westlake Ace Hardware wanted direct advertising mailers that also provided helpful information, they turned to Locomotion Creative’s print design experts and a copywriter who knows a thing or two about gardening. The print design experts designed vividly colored mailers that showcased Westlake Ace’s yard and garden products, but also illustrated how to use them, answering such questions as, “How do I pot a plant?” and “How can I attract butterflies to my garden?” The mailers were so eye-catching and helpful that it wouldn’t surprise us if Westlake’s customers saved them for future reference.
