A great team-building event should be meaningful, unifying and fun.
That’s the approach we took for a project we did for the Turner Family, founders of Dollar General Stores. It was a simple paint-by-numbers exercise where teams of family members each worked on just one panel of a larger painting, so they had no idea what the final painting would be. The completed panels were then assembled to reveal the image of someone with a very personal connection to the participants.
